Lenovo S930

Price: Rs. 17996 - Rs. 20996
Android phones with 1080p displays and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processors seem to get all the attention these days, but some OEMs are shifting their focus to mid-range handsets with prices set for those on a tight budget. The new Lenovo S930 fits that description perfectly. It runs on a MediaTek 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (which is expandable thanks to a microSD card slot), 8-megapixel rear and 1.6-megapixel front cameras, front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus audio and a 6-inch 1280×720 display.

Lenovo has stepped up its design chops, giving the S930 the same laser-etched fabric feel that’s present on the Lenovo Vibe Z. Yes, a smartphone with a 6-inch display is unwieldy to hold, pocket and lug around, but there is clearly a consumer demand for these large devices. Lenovo has also included a handful of software tweaks that take advantage of the S930′s the large display, but you’ll still need to hold the phone with two hands if you want to type or browse the web.

The best part about the Lenovo S930 is its cost. With a $349 price tag, the S930 undercuts the HTC One max, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra by a few hundred dollars.
