Bangalore: We are very familiar with what unexpected expenses can do to our pocket. That's why most of the consumers love to bargain for the products they pick. They make sure they imbibe the skills of bargaining because if they ignore it they will land up spending the entire weekly budget in one day. By knowing how to bargain you will not only save money, but also won't end up being pulled into every stall when they realize that you're easy to fool.
While we all make some sincere efforts to save every penny, not all sales, deals and discounts that lure the customer with attractive numbers are worth it. Because they might or they might not truly deliver the best value, quality or even price. Here are some cases when a bargain just isn't a bargain.
Bulk Purchases
Majority of the household population consider buying food items in bulk because it costs less and is a good tool in saving money. But adopting this method does cost less but doesn't always save you money in the long run. Because not all items can be purchased in bulk. Certain products like the non-perishable goods and household products are less likely to go to waste when buying in bulk, making them worth their price. And certain food products like meat, fruits, vegetables that expire quickly actually meet your family's needs. Your money is a waste when the food products you purchased is wasted.
