Going for solo seats in flights is usually a good idea because these seats tend to be cheaper. It so happens that buying tickets for a group of people is usually charged more because the staffs need to arrange for seats that are all close by and not scattered. People travelling in a group prefer to be seated together because of affiliation. Since, the staffs have to put in extra effort to accommodate all people in a group, they charge extra for this. People don’t mind paying more for a bigger group, as the cost of tickets is usually shared, because they want their near and dear ones together. Also, if one or more members of a group traveling do not want to pay more for the tickets, then they can opt for single seats as these are cheaper.
