5. Travel Cards

Travel card is another safe option which offers pre-loading of a specified amount into it. This form of cash carrying ensures higher safety in terms of identity theft. But it applies some charges like reloading fee, issuance fee, ATM cash withdrawal fee and balance enquiry fee.

6. Traveler’s Cheques

Though it is not a favourite method of carrying cash but is a very safe option. If lost or stolen, these cheques can be easily blocked and can be replaced within 24 hours. It can also be carried as an added backup advantage along with credit and debit cards. Hence the fear of losing your money minimizes with carrying a traveler’s cheques. There is a new set of prepaid travel cards provided by Visa which works the same as the traveler’s cheques but it charges fees similar to credit cards.
