Philip Anschutz- $10 billion: Philip Anschutz is not only known as a successive entrepreneur but also an empire builder. The reason behind this is that he made fortunes in railroads, oil and telecom. His owns L.A.'s Staples Center and London's O2, stakes in the L.A. Lakers and Kings, the new AXS ticketing service and a cable TV channel. He runs all the operations by himself. He is said to have a side empire, too which is the Xanterra Parks & Resorts, it is the biggest operator of lodges and concessions in America's national parks, that generates an estimated $375 million a year in revenues. In 2012 Anschutz paid what's thought to be more than $300 million for the historic Broad moor resort near Colorado Springs, now undergoing a $100 million facelift.

Harold Simmons-$10 billion: Harold Simmons a buyout investor of America was born in a middle class and in educated family where both his parents were into teaching profession. After completing his graduation he started his career as a bank examiner in a bank based in Dallas in 1952. His first investment was a small drugstore which he started off with his small savings of $5,000 and a loan of $95,000. Currently his net worth is around $10 billion.
