Under his leadership, India has emerged to become the 2nd largest R&D hub for Yahoo! globally, and the largest outside the US. Shouvick has been with Yahoo! for more than 10 years. After spending initial years at Yahoo!s headquarter in Sunnyvale, he moved to Bangalore and played a key role in leading development of numerous internet products and technologies in the area of - advertising, listings, media, data systems, platforms etc. His penchant for innovation has led the center to now contribute 1/3rd of IPs for Yahoo! globally. Prior to Yahoo! Shouvick worked in large multinationals across US, Europe and India.

Most recently, Subhash worked with Thomson, where he was the Vice President & General Manager for the company’s business operations in India & Sri Lanka. Tarun D Sharma

Tarun Sharma acts in the capacity of CEO of BMC Software India Pvt. Ltd (BMCI), a wholly owned subsidiary of BMC Software (BMC), a global infrastructure management software company. He is a VP of R&D in the global organization structure. BMC is the eighth largest software company in the world1 Tarun joins BMC from Virtusa, a global software services company focused on providing software services to BFSI, Telco and Media companies (“VRTU”). Tarun joined Virtusa in its early days when the company was less than 10 million USD in revenue. He stayed with them for 8 ½ years during which the company grew to 175 million USD in revenue and had a successful IPO. Tarun held the position of Sr. Vice President leading the BFSI technology group, which was responsible for over 1/3rd of their revenues. with revenues of 1.91 billion USD. BMC trades under the symbol “BMC “on NASDAQ. BMC is recognized as a leader in the Business Services Management industry and one of the BIG 4 – IBM, HP, CA , BMC. Prior to joining Virtusa Tarun co-founded a company called EC Cubed. EC Cubed was recognized in its early days as the top 100 companies to watch for in the B2B e-commerce space. The company was funded by large venture capitalist like Battery Ventures, Boston Millenia and other companies like Infosys and Cambridge Technology Partners. The firm raised close to 55 million USD in venture capital and successfully launched several products in the B2B markets. Prior to that Tarun worked for various product and consulting firms in India such as C-DAC, Men At Work, NIIT, and Techlead Software. Tarun has co- authored two books, Programming Web Components (McGraw Hills Publications, 1997) and Enterprise E-Commerce (Meghan-Kiffer Press, 1999). Enterprise E-Commerce went on to become a best seller ranking within the top 25 on both, BarnesandNoble.com and Amazom.com shortly after its release. Tarun is a software engineer by training. He graduated from PICT in 1992.
Vinod Sood

Sood is the Managing Director of Hughes Systique and is responsible for managing the company operations in India. Vinod has more than 25 years of experience in Communications Software industry. Previously, Mr. Sood was Head of Engineering and R&D at Hughes Software Systems (HSS) and served on the Board as well. Prior to HSS Mr. Sood worked with C-DOT. He is on the CII National Committee on IT, ITeS & e-Commerce and on the NASSCOM mentor panel for emerging companies. He is a member of Advisory Committee of the Institute of Informatics and Communications, University of Delhi. Mr. Sood is also the Chairman of RMC-CORE in Network Engineering (setup by TIFAC, Department of Science and Technology Government of India, a Government, Academia and Industry partnership initiative).
Vinod Sawhny
Executive Director & CEO, Beetel Teletech Limited
Prior to joining Beetel, Vinod was the President and Chief Operating Officer, Bharti Retail. In this role, he headed the new retail initiatives of Bharti Enterprises. Vinod joined the Bharti Group as the CEO Northern Region (Mobile) operations in 2002. As CEO & Director, Vinod was instrumental in establishing strong leadership for Airtel’s mobile operations in North India, which also included an acquisition in Rajasthan and setting up a Greenfield operation in J & K. Thereafter, Vinod was appointed Executive Director of Airtel’s Western Region (Mobile) operations and led the division’s turnaround in the critical Western India market. Subsequently, as the Joint President (Enterprise Services) of Bharti Airtel, he once again charted a profitable course for this nascent business. Prior to his joining Bharti, Vinod was Managing Director of Spice Telecom and was responsible for accelerating the growth of the then emerging telecom business. Vinod was also selected to join the new Joint Venture Godrej-GE Appliances Limited as the Vice President – Marketing & Sales, for both domestic and international business. With sound academic credentials, Vinod graduated with a BE (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, after schooling in St Xavier’s, Calcutta. He received his Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur. Vinod has participated in select development programs both in India and overseas, notably in Wharton Business School, USA, and the Center for Creative Leadership, Colorado Springs. Nitin joined Fidelity in June 2010 from McKinsey where he was the Director of McKC, McKinsey’s global knowledge center in India.
