Alok Chaturvedi, 39 years, is the Chief Operating Officer of SiliconIndia.com. He has over 15 years experience in management, sales and finance. He is having Bachelor Degree & also Degree in Chartered Accountant. Alok was country head of SiliconIndia US from 1999 to 2008 & had set up the India office and managed all operations and sales from India for US company. He also served as publisher of SmartTechie magazine for 5 years, which was one of the widest circulating magazines amongst the techies in India. Since 2008, as founding employee of SiliconIndia.com, Alok oversees the operations and finance of the company. He is also responsible for driving sales for online. His strong leadership and motivational skills in training over 150 sales people has resulted in superior individual and group performance. Under his leadership, the sales of the organization grew year-on-year revenue by 40 percent contributed by the newly introduced online products. His effort has brought the company to being profitable & cash flow positive and has made it ready for expansion. A down-to-earth person, Alok has a passion for building up teams to do all the functions of company.Alok is no doubt a people&rsquot;s manager and he believes that the team plays a crucial role in the success of an organization.
