For the majority of Android powered device, the screen size varies from 2-inches to more than 10-inches, and the screen density from 100 dots-per-inch to more than 300 dots-per-inch. For a seamless experience on all the devices it is important to ensure that the UI layout considers all the screen sizes and resolutions.

Google play has over 700, 000 apps, however, over 50% apps have failed to leverage the Android fragmentation of screen sizes to extend the reach of their apps, though screen-size-fragmentation had been one of the core reasons for the success of Android as an OS. This presentation discuss about the simple techniques, which helps in aesthetic resize of apps on different screens.

iPhone and Android platforms are the dominant markets for a mobile application. Wouldn’t it be cool to develop your UI only once and have the ability to deploy it on multiple platforms?

The answer to that is developing HTML 5 based applications that mimic the native UI of the underlying platform. In this workshop, we will explore the Kendo UI Mobile that provides adaptive rendering capabilities for the mobile UI.

Installing multiple SDKs is another nuisance. We get you started with Icenium – a Cloud based IDE to develop and deploy mobile applications for Android and iPhone applications. All you need is a computer with internet connection.

Seems like magic? Come in with your basic knowledge of HTML and leave after having built your first cross-platform Mobile Application.
