SREC is established in 2002, Approved by All India Council for Technical Education. Affiliated to Anna University. Nine hundred students are provided with education on par with best available standards, faculty and staff that are highly trained and professionals in their areas of Engineering studies, a well set infrastructure and state of art technology and equipments to enable a positive educational experience and a memorable one. We look forward to having you here with us, and welcome you onboard.
The courses we offer include Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Information and Technology, Master of Business Administration, as well as Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Every year we give admission for 240 students, 60 students in each branch of engineering, the efforts are directed to accommodate and address the expectations of each student by the way of enabling them to participate in the seminars, workshops organized in and out of the institute.
The institute is also engaged in supporting the students to refine the necessary skills, attitude and the aptitude towards the corporate placement process in the campus by the way of periodical competitive tests and group interaction exercises. The unified diversity element among student projects the integrated spectrum of prototype India as the students belong to the states of differing language and local culture gather with single minded focus to succeed in life. Our institution is aimed at providing students and future citizens of India with the best options available in the field of Engineering. We believe that education is a learning process. To incorporate this mind set for our students, each branch encompasses a practical application in the Labs and Workshops besides the theory. Apart from the classrooms, there is a wide variety of extra-curricular activities that students may pursue, based on their interests. These include cultural events within the student's branch, inter-disciplinary and inter-collegiate. Sports activities are always encouraged by our staff and management, both recreational and on the larger scale, in terms of tournaments, etc.
