Shree Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal (SIST)was established in 2002 by “Shring Shree Arunodya Shiksha Samiti, Bhopal” and is spread across 6 acres of sprawling campus well within municipal limits of Bhopal. The Training and Placement Cell is an integral part ofShree Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal (SIST)as a Department by itself, headed by Prof. Vinay Sharma. The Placement Cell functions with the coordination of Faculty members and students Coordinators from all streams. The establishment of " Training & Placement" cell is an important link betweenstudents and industry that guides their career path and developments. The T&P cell Endeavour’s to; develop professional attitude, perspective, ethics, personality development, team building, group activations, mock interview sessions and leadership abilities in students. The Cell is composed of a TPO, Asst. TPO & a campus drive coordinator. SIST prides itself for standing out as the first Institute in Bhopal to have secured on Job- Training cum placement offer letters for 220 students in single campus drive.
The technology is varying swiftly, with the result the stipulation of industry also changes incessantly. We provide an edge by way of lectures from reputed dignitaries from industries. The department is a launching pad for thorough breed of professionals ready to take off challenges for which emphasis on developing talent by early responsibility, imparting robust training and activating clear-cut career progression.
THE PLACEMENT OFFICES:
The Placement office handles all aspects of campus placements at SIST, Bhopal. The office is well-equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of placement process. The arrangements for pre-placement talks, written tests, interviews and discussions etc. are all handled by the placement committee of college students. The following facilities are made available:
- An auditorium to conduct the pre-placement talks.
- Well-furnished and air-conditioned room for interviews.
- Fully computerized office.
Well-trained and organized placement committee (student representatives).
The placement policy and other related activities are handled by the placement officer in consultation with the placement committee.
