The S.D. College of Engineering & Technology has been promoting the cause of technical education in western U.P. since 1997. In this short span of 11 yearsS.D. College of Engineering & Technologyhas made it presence felt in imparting quality education and thereby enhancing suitable technical manpower for more than 400 industrial unit of Meerut – Roorkee –Haridwar industrial belet and another industries in the country.

S.D. College of Engineering & Technologywas established by the Sanatan Dharma College Association, Muzaffarnagar a pioneer registered educational society. The society has been paying a vital role in promoting the cause of education in this region. At present it is running 15 prestigious technical and non technical educational institutions, which include a medical institute, a college of Pharmacy, Engineering College, Polytechnic, Degree College, two inter College, yoga institute and several others. The society has also established a management institute duly approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to UP Technical University, Lucknow.

A great visionary, Late Shri Mahendra Kumar Ji Advocate was the founder chairman of the college who had a vision to spread the light of education in the western UP succeeded by Shri Deepak Kumar Ji, as secretary, the mission of quality education continues and is scaling new heights.

Distinguished scholars and educationists in the fields of engineering and various disciplines of science and some prominent industrial organizations like star wire India, Gulshan Sugar & Chemicals Ltd, Nazar Chemicals etc. are on consultant *** advisory council of the college to develop it into one among the best seats of learning in the country.

S.D. College of Engineering & Technologyhas an active centralized placement cell . It has a placements committee which is a students body and acts as link between the efforts of the students and the college authorities decisions relating to the companies visiting the campus for recruitment are broadly based upon parameters such as job description, growth prospects, track record of the company remuneration packages and the number of students the company intends to select. Several reputed companies and organization including Indian army under UES scheme have come to campus for direct recruitment of the students. The college organizes quiz, Mock tests, group discussions, mock personal interviews round the year to acclimatize the students for future placement challenges.
