About us:

Roland Educational and Charitable Trust was founded in 1997 with the prime objective of promoting the cause of Technical Education in the backward regions of South Orissa and around. The Trust established ‘ROLAND INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY’ with the sole purpose of enlisting the services of eminent educationists for advice and guidance to achieve its avowed aim. The institute offers programs in such streams which have a high degree of avenues of lucrative placements. RIT is stepping into its tenth year due to its highly qualified, dedicated faculties and staff members under this committed management. A record of 5 batches of students have already passed out and placed in various companies across the country. We offer B.Tech. courses in ECE, EEE, AEIE, Mech, Civil, CSE, IT and Masters degree in MCA.

Roland Institute of Technology is an ISO-9001:2008 Certified Institution, approved by AICTE and recognized by Govt. of Odisha. The Institute is a premier Engineering College in Southern Orissa operating under the auspices of Biju Patnaik University of Technolgy. The Institute runs B.Tech and M.C.A. courses.

T & P Cell in the institute is headed by Er.P.R.Achari, Addl.Director and formerly General manager of Hindustan Motors;and Co-Guided by Mr.P.B.Patro, Manager HR & formerly General Manager (Mkt.) of Sarabhai Group. The Institute has a modest placement record with students bagging jobs at MNCs and reputed Indian companies in both core and IT sectors. The T & P cell offers specialized pre-placement training through prominent agencies.

Through our institute T&P Cell, we have close relations with many Industries like SATYAM, INFOSYS, ASSURGENT, WIPRO, IBM etc. These industries visit us for campus drive or we send our students to a pool campus drive for interview processes.

IBM has arranged a seminar on Faculties development programme.
