About Us:
Rajamahendri Institute of Engineering and Technology popularly known as RIET was established in the year 2008 near Pidimgoyyi in Rajahmundry by "The Swarnandhra Educational Society, Narsapur pioneered by Technocrats, Academicians and Philanthropists with a concrete plan to offer excellence in technical education and to meet the present as well as the changing needs of the corporate sector. The college is located in a peaceful and lush green environment which is free from pollution and away from the din and bustle of the crowded city life congenial to attain technical knowledge. The college is affiliated to JNTUK Kakinada and approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Government of Andhra Pradesh. Starting with 240 students in 4 courses of B. Tech in EEE, ECE, CSE and IT presently the college is having an intake of 480 students with 5 courses of B. Tech including Mechanical Engineering.
