In the year 2005 Nalla Malla Reddy Education Society, under the stewardship of Sri Nalla Malla Reddy, has taken over the reigns of the educational institution and renamed it as Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College. The college offers a Masters programmes in computer Applications with an annual intake of 60 added in the year 2005-06.
