The Muthayammal Engineering College was started as a co-educational self financing institution approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The college has gained recognition as a novel, state of the art engineering college that imparts technical education in line with international norms. The college currently has a total of 10 comprehensive programmes covering various aspects of engineering and business administration. The Department of MCA was established in the year 2001 and the department has an excellent infrastructure facility to provide quality education in the area of computer applications.
