The MVSR Engineering College which started in 1981 with fully established infrastructure at saidabad was shifted to Nadergul in Year 2000 with an idea of starting an Engineering College in the metro city. The Matrusri Education Society worked sincerely and started Matrusri Engineering College during 2011-2012, offering B.E courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. During the first year of admissions all the ‘A’ category seats (Convenor Quota) were filled, and is functioning with all seriousness and enthusiasm.
