The Deendayal Krishi Avam Gramin Proudyogiki Vikas Sansthan was registered under the Madhya Pradesh Society Registration Act (SN. 44 of year 1973) by a group of philanthropically inclined individuals, who decided to work together for the betterment of the society. Over a period of time, it earned recognition and accolades from all quarters as a premier non-governmental educational organization.

The Institute of Professional Studies (IPS), founded in the year 2005 with a vision to convert the potential of today’s youth into productive human resource of the society, has always promoted the belief that emotional, intellectual, and physical lives are interconnected, just as people’s lives are intertwined throughout the society. The Group believes in the philosophy-“education of the whole person in spirit, mind and body”-which is its guiding principle. It is based on the understanding that all people regardless of caste, religion, background, or upbringing have tremendous potential. This potential is explored and exploited by providing several value-addition programs to enrich the lives of its students. They are prepared to think critically, and to recognize how their endeavors contribute to the well-being of the society, and the country at large.

The Institute of Professional Studies (IPS)is one of the younger educational institutions of the state of Madhya Pradesh. During the initial phase of the college, it came up of with College Of Education and within a span of five years, the IPS-Group of Colleges has grown to contain four colleges with over 2,000 students.

Placement Cell:

The Institute of Professional Studies (IPS)is having a full-fledged Training & Placement Cell which is the integral as well as vital part of the Group. The Training & Placement Cell of IPS College is well networked with Industries. It seeks guidance from the industry on regular basis and ensures requisite polishing of the students so that they can carve a niche in their professional Career. The main function of this cell is to accomplish the basic needs of the corporate world. The Training & Placement Cell provides not only placements but it gives emphasis to make the students ready to cope up with the current challenges of the Industry by making them aware about the recent market trends. The T&P Cell also facilitates the students in various career development programmes.

Eminent experts from IITs, NITs and Corporate are being invited on a regular basis who can share their experience and knowledge with the students. By this students not only get the knowledge but also get motivated towards the practical life and become aware about the Industry demands as well. We keep arranging the Educational tours and Industrial visits so that students of various streams can get the practical exposure of the working environment. Summer training and on-job training is the essential part of our curriculum, where students have to undergo industrial training for a duration of 4 to 6 weeks and thus the students have to prepare one project on the practical aspects.

We believe in pragmatic philosophy which provides "practical training" to all students of IPS Group of Colleges and keep motivating them to organize Technical & Management Festivals so as to get practical knowledge in various fields of modern technologies. Training & Placement Cell is having a team of committed experts who always come forward to impart invaluable suggestions for the betterment of the students.
