The Institute of Road & Transport Technology (IRTT) was established in the year 1984 as Automobile research oriented Engineering College. It is run by All Transport Corporations of Government of Tamilnadu. The Institute offers seven Under Graduate Degree courses in Engineering in various disciplines and three postgraduate courses M.E Thermal Engineering, M.E Structural Engineering and Master of Computer Applications. The Institute has excellent infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, library and highly qualified faculty members.
