Initially, IIM-Raipur is being mentored by IIM-Indore. The institute offers 70 seats for two-year postgraduate (PG) programme. The classes of IIM-Raipur will be held on the campus of government Engineering College until the institute gets its own address.
N Ravichandran, Director, IIM-Indore, will be the IIM-Raipur Mentor Director. He said that the faculty members will be outsourced from various IIMs, including IIM-Indore, although they have received 800 applications seeking jobs at IIM-Raipur. In addition, he said that the process of recruiting faculty would take sometime.
