IEC College of Engg. & Technology
The IEC College of Engineering and Technology was started under the aegis of the Vocational Educational Foundation (VEF) in the year1999. VEF itself came into existence in 1989, with the aim of providing relevant and reliable education in different
parts of India, a nation in need of initiatives for educating its large population. Vocational Education Foundation strives to provide high quality education and leaves no stone unturned to achieve this goal. The members of VEF constantly monitor the operations of IEC College to ensure transparency and accountability, to maintain the high ideals that VEF stands for.
Admission Procedure :
The detailed admission procedure is given in Application Form for different quotas. Please refer to application form and apply for registration accordingly. Admissions are made strictly in accordance with the merit list of UPSEE or AIEEE.
Eligibility :For Eligibility please refer to Application form under different quotas.
State Admission:U.P. State has conducted State Entrance Examination (SEE-2009) for admission to the college through UPTU, Lucknow. This test shall however, to be restricted to fill up seats for the students of the U.P. State only.
Management Quota:All admissions in different approved quotas shall be made strictly on the basis of merit and satisfying the eligibility criteria at Delhi office by the Admission Committee.
Direct Admission (Admission in Second Year):Candidate can take direct admission to 2nd year to B.Tech. Course provided that he/she are domicile of U.P. and have passed 3 year Diploma (with a minimum of 60% marks) recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering except Agriculture Engineering.
Fee Structure : As per the decision taken by the state government and U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.
Fee Waiver : Fee Wavier of Tuition fee for women, economically backward and physically handicapped meritorious students also offered by IEC College of Engineering & Technology in undergraduate courses only. This fee waiver however subject to the approval of the approving authorizing like AICTE, UPTU, Lucknow, State Govt.
Placement :
The Training and Placement Cell is committed to fulfilling the dreams of all those who graduate from IEC. The Cell believes
in overall development of the students' personality, which will help them to achieve a rewarding career. The students are provided the platform for developing interpersonal, technical, and business skills, so that they can face the global challenge. The various skills are developed through group discussions, mock interviews, quizzes, paper presentation. In addition, special invited lectures are organized for all advanced industry-relevant subjects.
