About Us:
The Sonepat Hindu Educational & Charitable society is headed by Shri Shri Bhagwan Gupta Ji The society has been active since 1914 and has established 14 institutions offering programmes at secondary, senior secondary, graduate and post graduate levels in the fields of Science, Arts, Commerce, Pharmacy, Education, Technology, Computer Science, Management and Engineering. All these institutions enjoy excellent reputation for high standards of education and discipline. The number of students in all these institutions is over 20,000.
Hindu College of Engineering was established in the year 1999 having its own four-storey building on 10 acre of land with separate administrative block, state-of-the-art labs & workshops, library, canteen, separate hostels for boys and girls, Chartered bus services between Delhi-Sonepat on self financing basis and other facilities like 24 hour power backup etc. There are 9 computer labs equipped with about 250 computers of latest configuration, connected through LAN and have 24 hour broadband internet connectivity.

The college encourages and supports the faculty to acquire higher education. All our academic programs have all the staff members who are either M.Tech or persuing M.Tech/Ph. D.

Objective:
The main objective is to prepare leaders who go beyond conventional technical skills. The graduates are trained not only to be effective but also to be innovative. The management and staff members are trying their level best to develop the model technical institutes of our country. The continuous improvement is our main concern.

Placement Cell:
The Institute has a well established Training & Placement Cell to facilitate Summer Training as well as final placement of the students. For this purpose, we have regular interaction with industries/institutes. The institute has also started Personality Development Program (PDP) to impart in house training to the students on soft skills, preparation for interview & GD, resume writing etc for better employability.
The students undergo six week industrial training after their exams of 4th semester and 6th semester as part of their curriculum.
The placement cell is vigorously following up the industries and also guiding the students for their placement. The college provides ample opportunities to the students to participate in the recruitment drives of reputed companies. We got employment for quite a few students in reputed companies viz. IBM, Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, I-flex Solutions, HCL, CSC, L&T Infotech, Hexaware Technologies, Birlasoft, Tech Mahendra, U S Technologies, Mphasis, Saskin, Brickred, Johnson Controls, Ansaldo Signals, AIMIL, L&T, Nokia-Siemens, ECE, Jindal Steel, Havell's, Indo Asian Fuse gear, ABB, TCS, Ericsson etc.
