It has maintained its conspicuous presence in the technical world. H.B.T.I. has a history of realization, fulfillment of necessities and advancement in the field of science and technology. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 1984 with a 4-year B.Tech. Programme in Computer Science, with an intake of 30 students. A 3-year Post Graduate Program, Master of Computer Application, with an intake of 60 students was introduced in 1994. The department has continuous interaction with the Industries in order to identify projects for students to work on and for their training & attachment so as to expose them to industry scenario.
