    Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College, Pauri is an Engineering Institute established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 1989 for imparting engineering education and promoting technological environment of Garhwal region. The College is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, with effect from batch 2006-07, onwards. The Master of Computer Applications department was established in the year 2002 with an experienced faculty has come out a long way on the frontier lines of software research and development. The department keeps itself in pace with the IT changes and regularly updates its laboratories with the latest computing facilities and software technologies.
