Dr Rizvi College of Engineering (DRCE),Kaushambi is one of the recent entrants in the field of higher education in India. DRCE was established under the Societies Act 1950 and registered under the provisions of The Bombay Public Act, 1950. Affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) Lucknow, courses offered by DRCE have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Dr Rizvi College of Engineering comes under the umbrella of Rizvi Education Society, a public charitable trust. With an aim to establish itself as one of the prominent names in the field of higher education in India, the Trust has established a number of institutions to offer courses at various disciplines. DRCE has become one of the prominent institutions incepted by the trust. Currently, the college offers engineering courses at various levels.

The Campus ofDr Rizvi College of Engineeringis spread over an area of 30 acres. It is located in Karari, district Kaushambi on the Allahabad to Sirathu / Saini road, about 45 km from Allahabad railway station. The lush green campus with sprawling law ns and playgrounds is meticulously planned and designed with exquisite site facilities to develop congenial environment for the students pursuing their studies far from the daily hustle-bustle of city life.

Dr Rizvi College of Engineeringhas a well established Training and Placement cell. The Training and Placement department motivates the students providing the necessary help and guidance for their personality development. They are exposed to various organization and corporate sectors, thorough expert lectures and short-term courses. The pre final and the final year students are privileged to train themselves in practical industrial training arranged during summer/winter vacation in various public and private organizations.

Nearly 90% of the students perform their final year projects in industries.

Each year more than 30% to 40% students are placed through this cell. The training and placement cell is active to keep touch with the industry and invites the industries to conduct campus interviews.

Students are made confident enough of their caliber by taking up in-plant training. It contacts various industries for placement at the end of the course, to conduct campus interviews, besides interviews in the industries arranged by the cell.
