About us: The history of the college is like a sacred pilgrimage into the past and embodies in itself a tale of two cities. The college was established at Gujranwala ( now in Pakistan) in 1917 and its foundation stone was laid by Sikh Divine Saint Sant Attar Singh Ji. Since its inception GGNIMT has a tradition of academic excellence with GGNIMT'ians securing university positions in every semester. GGNIMT also encourages its students to participate in extra-curricular activities organised by university & other institutions. This arrangement has made it possible to GGNIMT'ians to win accolades at various levels. The Institute not only cultivates vision and encourages growth but also inculcates human values and concern for environment & society. The initiatives undertaken are blood donation camps, celebrating Diwali with mentally challenged students at Ek Prayaas, with orphans, at Bal Bhawan organised by Indian Red Cross Society, organised AIDS...
