CVSR College of Engineering was established in 2002 by Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust with three B.Tech Courses with intake of 180. Presently, the College has seven(7) B.Tech. programmes and six(6) M.Tech. programmes, MCA and MBA courses. The total student strength of the college is around 3000. The CVSR College of Engineering is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and permitted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad. The CVSR College of Engineering is Accredited by NBA of AICTE for three eligible courses B.Tech (ECE), B.Tech (CSE) and B.Tech (EEE) with effect from 10.03.2009 for three years. The Alumni of the College is spread over all the MNC's and best Universities across the world.
