Annai Mathammal Sheela Engineering College has been established and run by Mathammal Sheela Trust. Tharamangalam with a view to serve the rural area. The object of starting the instruction is to supplement Government's efforts to provide professional education to the needy on non-commercial basis. This is a Christian Minority Institution to serve the poor students.
