B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology (BVBCET) was established in 1947 at Hubli. The programmes offered by the college are affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology is undergoing an accelerated growth phase through autonomous mode of operation & is one of the twelve colleges in the state to enjoy the academic autonomy for both UG and PG programs. The college offers 12 under-graduate and 7 post graduate programmes in various disciplines. 8 departments of the college are recognized as research centers to pursue doctoral studies.
