About Us:
BIT has over the years extended its expertise and scope of knowledge beyond its main campus at Mesra in an attempt to overcome modern challenges in the field of IT and allied technology with proficiency. The seven BIT Extension Centres in India and the three abroad have successfully made the educational and research capabilities of the institute accessible to a large section of youngsters pursuing careers in related fields.
The BIT Extension Centre at Noida enjoys an advantageous position owing to its proximity to a major industrial and IT hub at Greater Noida, Gurgaon and Delhi. Located in a posh area joining Noida and Delhi, adjacent to many important industrial houses like Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum, Kribco, PDIL, GAIL etc. It is also just 15 km away from Delhi and very well connected with all neighbouring towns by road.
The Centre was established in 1998 after having felt the urgent need of an institution for diversified and advanced educational research, consultancy and training of human resources in IT and Management technology in the Northern sector.
Message from the Director
Gone are the days when aspiring students had limited career options to go for engineering or medical. The academic curriculum and techniques have changed substantially; more so, in the recent past because of perceived changes in business and economic scenario.
The Birla Institute of Technology is one of the very few leading educational institutions, which offer variety of academic options to acquire professionalism and expertise in the related areas. The Extension Center at Noida has made rapid growth since its inception in the year 1998. It received overwhelming response for seeking admission to IT and management programmes. The quality of education is one of its major strengths, which have been inherited from the main campus at B.I.T., MESRA, Ranchi.
Our goal is to expand and strengthen this center to provide better career opportunities on one side while on the other, make available skilled personnel to the corporate sector. I am confident that corporates would find our students a class apart from the rest.
