Admission Procedure :
Admission are made on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) and subsequent counseling conducted by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. The students admitted through university counseling are required to report to the Admission Committee and fill the Admission forms and deposit the college fee as prescribed by the Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. and given in the prospectus. The Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering and Technology takes utmost care that the admission procedure is transparent and simple. Students with complete admission form and relevant documents listed in form, report to Admission Committee. Those found suitable for Admission are asked to deposit the fee with the institute/bank representative.

- To organize campus interviews for placement of pre-final & final year students by liasoning with HR department of reputed industrial establishments.
- To arrange Project Work/Semester industrial training in Public/Private sector undertakings enjoying reputation for products, quality & culture. This will synthesize the theoretical knowledge acquired in academic curriculum.
- To organize seminars/workshops for personality development o students at regular intervals.
- It is a forum for industry-institution interaction. Eminent personalities from industry / institutions are invited to deliver lectures for new technologies developed and their implementation in industry.
- To arrange industrial visits for technological & industrial exposure to students.
- Organize summer training programmes in industry / institution.
