    AVS Engineering College is the youngest institution promoted by Om Sri Vivekanandha Educational Trust and it is the eighth College in its group of Institutions. AVS Engineering College has been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and has been affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore from the academic year 2008-09.

    The AVS Engineering college is situated well within the corporation area of Salem and located at Military Road, Ammapet, Salem – 3. The college is 2 km away from Salem Town railway station and 7 km away from Salem Junction. Bounded by the Chervaroy hills on the east and north and Salem city in the south and west, the college is located in a quiet and peaceful place providing a congenital learning environment.
