About A.R. College of Engineering and Technology
A.R. College of Engineering and Technology is located near the 'Health Spa of the South', Kadayam, near Courtallam in the lushly forested Western Ghats of Tirunelveli District.
This year we are starting with four branches of study in Engineering focusing on core subjects with an annual intake of 240 students.
The main objective is corporate learning and gaining new experience to the students belongs to down trodden society The younger generation today should overcome the challenges and grasping the opportunities prevailing in and around them with the help of Technical background to move forward and contribute them to the society for the improvement of Nation. For all the above, the need of Technical Education is important. It was my vision and wish that I should do something to contribute the Nation development in order to make India a developed country in 2020, by producing value added Technocrats to the Nation.

BE - Mechanical Engineering (Mech)
The workshop has a spacious built up area of 12000 Sq. ft providing training in all basic workshop skills like Fitting,Carpentry, Smithy,Foundry, Welding, Sheet metal works.
All the latest welding equipments and Precision measuring instruments are available.
BE - Civil Engineering
The Civil engineering field has gained more importance than any other field in recent times as there is a huge demand for civil engineers in all multinational Companies.
BE - Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
he Electronics and Communication Department is highly multi-displinary field with tremendous advancement made during the last few decades. The ARCET has well equipped labs for the purpose of practical application .
BE - Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
The progress in the field of Computer Science is a neverending Our computer Science and Engineering,department is designed to keep up to this place the importance of rapid advancement in the Information Technology Sector.
