Agni College of Technology (ACT), Chennai was established in 2001 and managed by Sri Balaji Charitable and Educational Trust and formerly known as Vel's Srinivasa College of Engineering and Technology. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, accredited by NBA. The objective of the college is producing high quality engineers and technocrats. ACT has set for itself to be among the top institution in the country offering technical education by creating and nurturing enterprising spirit among the students and helping them to grow as professional engineers with up to date knowledge in their chosen areas of expertise.
