Adhi College of Engineering & Technology(ACET),was established in the Year 2008-2009 in the fond memory of Thiru.MUNU ADHI, former speaker of Tamilnadu State Assembly and founder, CHANDRA MUNU ADHI Educational Trust, which is a non-profitable, non-minority Educational institution. Late Thiru. Munu Adhi was closely associated with several educational initiatives in the Tambaram region of Chennai. Thiru.Munu Adhi served as MLA for four successive terms.
Adhi College of Engineering & Technology is functioning at No.6,Munu Adhi Nagar, Sankarapuram Pazhaya Seevaram, Near Wallajabad, Kanchipuram District. The college buildings are architecturally designed with 14 acres area as per AICTE norms. Imbibed with the message of his father, "Education has to reach the un-reach" our Chairman ventured into the realm of providing quality technical education to both urban and rural students from Tamilnadu as well as other states. Our Chairman is a visionary and he has to his credit various other enterprises such as Industries, educational Institution etc.

We implement simple ways of learning in order to capture the minds of below average students to bring them up equally among others and encourage them how to face the competitive world. Our institution gives them wider knowledge in technical areas and support to all categories of student for their up-liftment. We strive to make all departments in our institution an important regional and national technical resource centre. We aim to impart employability, creativity, leadership qualities among the students.
