Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology(AIET), Faridkot was established in 1996 with aim of providing high quality education in Engineering and Technology with a close interaction with industry. This institute has grown steadily in size and activities during the last decade of its existence. It is a self-supporting, self-financed and privately managed institute, developed on a 30-acre piece of land. Institute offers B.Tech.(4 year full time courses) in Electronics & Communication Engg.(120 seats), Computer Science Engineering (120 seats), Electrical Engineering (30 seats), Information Technology (60 seats) , Civil Enginerring (60 seats) and B.Tech. in Bio-Medical Engg. (with 30 seats). It also offers B.Sc. (3 year course) in Bio- Technology(60 seats).
During 2008-09, three new P.G. Courses in M-Tech ECE (18 Seats), M-Tech EE (18 Seats) and M.B.A. (60 Seats) were introduced. During 2009-10, two additional M.Tech courses in CSE (18 Seats) and IT (18 Seats) have been apperoved by the AICTE, New Delhi and Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar.
AIET Faridkot is affiliated to Punjab Technical University(PTU), Jalandhar. It is recognized by the Govt. of Punjab and all courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi.
