Virtual Coaching - Automation + Digital Solutions to Keep Learning Moving

This wasn’t the first nor will be the last pandemic the world faces. Almost every industry took a hit but some almost stood still for long till they realized how technology can ensure there are no more interruptions whatsoever in the future. Automation & digital solutions came to the rescue of such businesses and coaching is one of them. Though schools took to online classes soon, coaching institutes are still taking baby steps towards creating an ecosystem where teaching would remain uninterrupted. Not even the largest of the coaching/training institutes were spared, especially in the tier II and III cities. SKILL MONKS’ PAN-India survey analyzed the challenges training institutes face to transition online and understand the support required by them.

The report mentions that 24 percent of training institutes were ready to adopt automation and digital solutions to integrate their current business operations. It also brings to fore the fact that 76 percent of training institutes across India must tap the potential of Virtual Coaching. These will ensure that student’s learning remain unaffected and training/coaching institutes provide uninterrupted upskilling to them without disrupting their future whilst preparing them for competitive exams, higher exam preparation and government job preparation. Training institutes willing to make this shift were from Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Vishakhapatnam, Kanpur and Lucknow.

However, what was holding behind the training institutes was the lack of any automation capabilities to alter their mode of operations, the foundational knowledge and the infrastructure for digitization & automation. But there is another face to it. As the number of COVID cases are declining by the day, institutes anticipate the situation to get normal soon, due to which they are unwilling to invest on digitization. On the other hand, training/coaching institutes lack of digital marketing capabilities also acts as a hindrance as they are not able to generate awareness and attract new learners. But till the institutes/coaching centres adopt the new normal in imparting training/education, things will remain so for long.

This is true for every industry despite what sector they are form. Automation and digital transformation are the need of the hour and industries need to keep updating to be able to address the new normal. With social distancing norm taking precedence, automation and digital transformation will redefine the way institutes/coaching centres impart lessons to the learners and prepare them for the next line of challenges in their future education/career opportunities.
