siliconindia | | June 20189With a strong heart, it becomes easier for you to do all you must exercise, meditate and follow a proper diet to live a long, fulfilling and happy lifereer when you can deliver your best at work every day. To give your or-ganization your best, you must first be at your best. You must take care of yourself before you attend to an enti-ty (person, department, or company) which needs you.Thankfully, to achieve this, we can refer to another era when India expe-rienced astronomical development the Gupta Empire which thrived from 320 AD 500 AD. That era didn't let advancement in education, art; music and science get in the way of living. In fact, it used those advancements to improve its quality of life. Here are four actions you can learn from ancient India to do the same with your life.1. Exercise: When you exercise, your body releases endorphins which reduce the perceptions of pain and in-crease those of euphoria. Regular ex-ercise strengthens your heart and re-duces stress, anxiety and other mental conditions. It also boosts self esteem and energy levels. At least 60 minutes of exercise every day is recommend-ed. But if you cannot find that much time, start with a 10-minute walk. You also can engage in other mentally re-laxing activities like gardening, swim-ming, housework, yoga and more.2. Meditation: In the past few years, meditation has gained millions of followers worldwide because it has helped them improve health and ease chronic ailments. Research also proves that meditation boosts mood and immunity, and resolves pregnan-cy issues. Meditation is not difficult to practice, nor is it exclusive to a sect. Sit in a quiet place for 10 minutes. Inhale and exhale deeply, and focus your thoughts on your breath. If you mind wanders (and it will) bring it back non-judgmentally.3. Diet: Following a proper diet is not the same as dieting. You can do without the latter, but for a healthy lifestyle, you cannot afford to ignore the former. The root cause for most ailments today (including heart is-sues) is the lack of a proper dietary routine. Ancient Indians were healthy because they stuck to vegetarian food and ate at regular intervals. But to-day, many employees skip lunches and dinners for meetings, or con-sume disturbing levels of fast-food to compensate. Not only does this re-duce your life expectancy, but it also impacts your quality of life as your grow older.Imagine how your life will be if you're constantly affected by ailments and unable to work by the time you turn 45. To maintain a healthy diet, focus on three things: quality, quantity and tim-ing. Replace junk food with fruits. Eat enough quantity to keep your body full and your mind alert and eat at regular intervals so that you don't overeat.4. Natural Bypass Treatments: Thousands of arteries lie on the heart's surface in two forms -- seeds and micro vessels (capillaries). Normally these arteries don't open up in peo-ple. But through natural bypass, these arteries in seed-form open up, as do those in the micro vessels form. Natu-ral bypass improves the flow of blood to your heart. It's 100 percent natural and enables you to live a healthier life. It substantially reduces the chances of heart ailments in the future. Conclusion:With a strong heart, it becomes easier for you to do all you must exercise, meditate and follow a proper diet to live a long, fulfilling and happy life. Your mental and physical health is the most critical aspects. Attend to them before you attend to anything else. Dr. Santosh Dhage
