In today's world, for the smartphone generation, 2D graphics and 3D games are everyday things. So, winning this age is to craft memorable and unique visuals. Simulating environments and immersing the user seems to be the best logical extension in terms of technology, feasibility and commercial viability.Gamification of BusinessVirtual reality is a platform that brings immersion in a digitally created world. This platform is a great enterprise solution that interprets cross functional challenges like marketing, training and core industrial activities. When most of the world sees it as a gaming platform, we the entrepreneurs view it differently gamification of business. This technology has proved to be a great crowd puller and an influencer to this digital world. In the year 2015, the acquisition of Oculus by Facebook, HTC entering the market with its VIVE entity created in collaboration with Steam OS, was the main topic for discussion. There was also the trend of companies launching products with the 360o videos. YouTube released its support for 360o in their main stream with all the above sequential timeline of incidents; it is evident that something massive was brewing up in the Virtual reality space. You cannot miss mentioning the acquisition of Apple in the Augmented Reality (AR) space namely Metaio Inc.The year 2016, called the year for Virtual Reality, accentuated the concept with the launch of hardware, camera and mobile phones supporting this technology.
