CREDAI's New Dimension to Realty Industry

Bangalore: The real estate industry is one of the major contributors of Indian economy. The residential segment alone contributes 5 to 6 percent of the country’s GDP but still the real estate industry has been observed as an unorganized section says Jagadish Babu, president elect - CREDAI Karnataka in his article to Deccan Herald.

To manage and to serve credibility in the real estate industry, an apex body of real estate developers, CREDAI-‘voice of the Industry’ has been created. Across the country, CREDAI represents over 6000 developers through 20 member associations which help developers all over to come together and inculcate best practices to work better, to improve customer service and to built strong real estate industry.

The aim of the association is to fulfill four basic principles such as promote, facilitate, build and to help serve the real estate industry prosper. It encourages ethics and transparency through the CREDAI Code of Conduct that is self regulatory. It persuades real estate players to maintain harmony and dignity and also influence transparent dealings with the customer.

CREDAI builds a good rapport between the Government, developers, financial institutions, media and professionals.  It deals with the government through debates, representations, media coverage and legal actions. It is on a mission to organize the growth pattern in the real estate industry.
