About University of Tampa

The University of Tampa and when its headquarters moved from the local high school to what is now known as Plant Hall. Riding on the truck was its president, Frederic H. Spaulding, the former principal of Hillsborough High School and the man who had been the motivating force behind establishing the first local university for Tampa’s high school graduates.

• 6,500 students enrolled for fall 2010 (undergraduate and graduate)

School of Health At University of Tampa:The College of Natural and Health Sciences offers rigorous, high quality curricula designed to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.University of Tampa faculty are excellent teachers, both in the classroom and working with students on an individual basis.University of Tampa has invested heavily in the development of our college’s teaching and research facilities and laboratories. The faculty, not graduate students, teach all laboratory-based courses in all of our departments.
