On 1st August 2007, the University of Paisley and Bell College merged to create Scotland’s biggest modern university with campuses in Ayr, Dumfries, Hamilton and Paisley.

School of Health, Nursing & Midwifery : Welcome to the School of Health, Nursing and Midwifery Website. Here you will find information about our teaching, research and other educational activities.
The School of Health Nursing and midwifery, the largest in Scotland, has around 4,100 full and part-time students studying across the University campuses in Ayr, Dumfries, Hamilton and Paisley and online.
We offer pre-registration preparation at Higher Education Diploma and Degree level in Adult Nursing and Mental Health Nursing and Midwifery at Degree level.
In addition, we provide post-basic courses and coursesup to Masters level in Nursing, Midwifery and related topics.
School of Engineering : The School of Engineering covers a wide range of disciplines. The close collaboration between these subject areas gives our teaching and research a uniquely applied approach.
There are a variety of factors that add to the success of our School including:
