School of Health Science: The Bachelor of Arts degree completion program in Health Sciences (formerly Science, Health, and Living Systems) prepares students to enter the health-care field, one of the fastest growing fields, according to the U.S. Department of Labor 2010-11 Occupational Handbook.The BA in Health Sciences at John F. Kennedy University incorporates multidisciplinary approaches to the study of health, illness, and disease in diverse human populations. Offered at our campuses in Pleasant Hill and Costa Mesa, this program builds upon a foundation of a liberal education where core courses emphasize critical thinking and interdisciplinary learning. It draws upon the biological, social, behavioral and policy sciences, and focuses on the determinants of health, health promotion, disease prevention, health care systems, health policy, and health technology.Health Sciences graduates are prepared with the essential skills, both theoretical and practical, needed in community public health practice. The program prepares graduates for jobs in public health and for graduate study in public health; health education; health care administration; and business, just to name a few.

School of Business:
The Management program offers a Master of Business Administration degree with specializations in Leadership, Strategic Management, Project Management, and, starting in Spring 2011, Entrepreneurship. In addition, students have the opportunity to develop a customized specialization.The program offers two dual degree options:  an MBA – MA in Museum Studies and an MBA – JD.  Information about these dual degrees is available in the Museum Studies section and the College of Law sections, respectively, of the site. John F. Kennedy University’s Management program emphasizes visionary, participatory leadership and strategic thinking from a global viewpoint.
