Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a large multi-campus institution serving communities in Western Australia and a significant cohort of international students.Awarded university status in 1991, Edith Cowan University has since developed innovative and practical courses across a wide range of disciplines, established a vibrant research culture and attracted a growing range of quality research partners and researchers, many working at the cutting edge of their fields.
Edith Cowan University has more than 20,000 students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Approximately 4,000 of these are international students originating from over 90 countries.

School of Nursing, Midwifery and Medicine: We have a passion for finding better ways to educate and train nurses, midwives, paramedics and medical practitioners and other health professionals and enhance their capacity to professionally and competently contribute to the improved well being in our community. The School is unique in its multidisciplinary approach and we are committed to an integrated plan for clinical skills development so our graduates are confident and competent to practice high quality and safe health care.
We run the largest undergraduate nursing program in Western Australia and offer the Bachelor of Science (Nursing) across metropolitan (Perth) and regional
(Bunbury) campuses, as well as through interactive online learning.
This degree program is distinctive as it links three areas of activity that are directed at complementing and strengthening clinical development for undergraduate nursing students:
School of Engineering:Engineering at Edith Cowan University encompasses the breadth of modern engineering practice with courses in Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Power, Electronics and Communications, Instrumentation Control & Automation, and Computer Systems engineering.
