On May 15, 1989, Bond University welcomed its first cohort of 322 students at its brand new, state-of-the-art campus on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

Modeled on the traditions of the world’s most elite educational institutions, the vision for Australia’s first private, not-for-profit university was to provide an exclusive educational experience of the highest international standards, under the tutelage of the country’s leading academics.
When those foundation students graduated as ‘Class of 91’, they were quickly recruited by some of Australia’s largest corporations and their subsequent achievements in the workplace firmly established the Bond reputation for excellence.
Bond University is set on a 49.86 hectare campus at Robina on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine At Bond University:The Faculty has established a reputation for offering innovative degree programs in a range of health-related disciplines and professions, including Biomedical Science, Exercise Science, Forensic Science, Health Sciences, High Performance Science, Medicine, Physiotherapy*, Sports Management and Sport Science. The Medicine and Physiotherapy programs have achieved external professional recognition and the first cohorts in both courses graduated during 2009 to become part of Australia’s much needed health professional workforce.
