School of Nursing At Ball State University :Ball State University’s innovative programs in nursing will prepare you for a challenge and rewarding career. You will learn to care for individuals and groups and to help people maintain health and wellness.Courses are taught using a variety of approaches to learning, including classroom lectures, seminars, in-class demonstrations, Internet modules, and simulation and real clinical experiences. Clinical study begins with courses introducing basic nursing concepts and health care appraisal. As you progress through the nursing curriculum, you will learn increasingly more complex skills and work with clients across the lifespan in acute, chronic, and rehabilitation states in a variety of settings.
