Armstrong Atlantic State University The city of Savannah’s proclamation and the resolution by the Georgia House of Representatives, both officially recognizing our anniversary, were events that brought pride to Armstrong Atlantic State University.The new hall brings the total number of students living on campus to more than 1,400. As more students learn and live on campus, our economic benefit to the city and the region, estimated at $215 million by a recent study published by the University of Georgia, will also continue to increase.I will continue to work with Armstrong Atlantic State University leadership team to maintain the integrity of our academic programs, minimize any effect of budget cuts on faculty and staff, and strengthen the university’s finances.

School & College At Armstrong Atlantic State University: Degree programs in the College of Education are designed to produce prepared, reflective educators committed to excellence in the profession and the learning of all students. The College also works to help students develop a depth of knowledge and the power of imagination that will enable them to take leadership positions and improve the quality of education across our state and beyond.

Engineering Study At Armstrong Atlantic State University : Engineering involves solving everyday problems to improve the lives of people through the practical application of science and mathematics. Engineers are creators and developers who imagine better ways of doing things and then design and build things to bring those ideas into reality.Engineering Studies Program is to prepare students to pursue Georgia Tech engineering degrees, a degree that is one of the most respected in the United States. Bachelor degrees in Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, and Mechanical Engineering can be obtained without leaving Savannah through the GTREP and Engineering Alliance programs with Georgia Tech Savannah. Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, Materials Science, Nuclear, and Polymer and Textile Engineering can be obtained through the RETP program.

School Of Health Professions At Armstrong Atlantic State University: Armstrong’s College of Health Professions offers a range of academic programs that prepare students for careers in nursing, public health, health administration, and the allied health professions. From associate through doctoral degrees, the College of Health Professions continually responds to the health and wellness needs of an ever-growing and changing population.Armstrong Atlantic State University. We are the most comprehensive Health Professions Education Center in Georgia and serve the needs of Southeast Georgia, South Carolina and Northern Florida. The College offers Bachelor's Degrees, Master's Degrees and Certificate Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Public Health, Health Sciences, Medical Technology, Nursing, Radiologic Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, and Respiratory Therapy. We also offer the Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. Full accreditation is in place for all programs that require it.They have following are:
