Casio G’zOne Ravine
Casio launched a series of rugged mobile phones, which could sustain tough weather conditions and were of military grade to deliver high performance regardless of the weather condition. The G’zOne Ravine is an example of how a wrong name can hamper the prospects of a good product. The name is tough to pronounce and plays around with capital letters, which made the product sink without a trace. Though the G’zOne is a military grade phone, which has a rugged design and can withstand almost about anything, the name never did justice to the phone, and the long train of words to its names just added to the confusion of the customers.
