Hong Kong takes the third position on the list. The city ranks high on the criteria of economic activity, quality of life and knowledge and influence, though it slips low on political power. Hong Kong is also noted for its GDP per capita that leads to a high quality of life and well-educated residents. It was placed on the fifth spot in the category of ‘fastest growing in importance’. The survey also revealed that Hong Kong is hot on its heels in the table of the leading cities in 10 years.
