One More Mittal Wedding

Last December Shristi Mittal, the daughter of Pramod Mittal and niece of steel tycoon Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, tied the nuptial knot with Gulraj Behl—an investment banker by profession. The wedding ceremony was a three day extravaganza and is said to be a 500 crore affair.

The venue of the celebration was the city of Barcelona in Spain. The city which saw its traffic  cut off owing to the massive celebrations was also witness to helicopters hovering over its skies to take aerial snapshots of the event. 200 chefs, chosen from India and Thailand, were flown in to take care of the culinary extravaganza. A six tier wedding cake weighing 60 kg was cut by the couple. Then there was the spectacular light, water and musical display to enthrall the guests.

This is believed to be the second most expensive wedding in the history of big-fat weddings.
