Ten Most Tragic Stories from Bollywood

Deewar: The movie Deewar reflects the changing socio political scene in India during the mid 1970s. Deewar portrays the growing up of two brothers with no father and raised by just a mother.  As grown men , they deal with their past and work on reversing the injustice done to them. The brothers take on two different paths. While one finds a job in a shipping dock, the other works towards becoming a cop, after having met his girlfriend’s father, who serves  as a police commissioner. The other one, sadly, soon goes into the underworld after having met Daavar, who is a powerful don. He tries to keep this truth hidden but it soon gets discovered. The movie follows with the separation of the two brothers where one of them works on breaking the law while the other tries to protect it.
